I’m writing to remind you of our upcoming Inn of Court meeting, to be held next Wednesday, January 17.  Our cocktail hour will begin, as usual, at 6 pm, and at 7 pm we’ll move upstairs as quickly and efficiently as ever for a conversation with longtime Supreme Court reporter Lyle Denniston, moderated by new SCOTUSBlog editor Edith Roberts. 

If you would like to bring a guest, please let me know by the end of the day Monday and make sure to pay the $10 fee on our website.  

One final note: On February 3, our Inn President, Doug Letter, will be leaving the Department of Justice (where he has worked for the past 40 years) to join the Georgetown University Law Center as a Visiting Professor and Senior Litigator at the Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection.   Please join us in wishing Doug well in his new position.
